We are currently supporting the education of all the children in the orphanage.
As there is no public school system in the Kibera, and no government support of
any kind for schooling, the orphanage turns into a pre-school and elementary school
during the day. The children are taught by the Pastor’s wife and a small group of
volunteers. The older children attend a high school outside of Kibera, however, none
of their expenses such as school tuition, books and uniforms are paid for by the
government, and these children, as well as the elementary school children rely on our
foundation to cover all of their educational expenses.
